Description of Fused Magnesia Brick
Fused Magnesite Bricks are produced with more than 90% magnesium oxide content as the raw material and periclase as the principal crystalline phase after smashing, mulling, molding, firing and drying in the high temperature. Magnesite Bricks can be classified into two types of burnt magnesite bricks and unburnt magnesite bricks.Magnesite Bricks are mainly used in electric furnace, tunnel kiln, rotary kiln and glass furnace with great properties of high refractoriness and good alkali slag erosion resistance.

Application of Fused Magnesia Brick
Fused magnesia bricks are widely used in various high-temperature industrial fields. In steelmaking furnaces, they are used to build linings to resist high temperatures and corrosive slag. In glass kilns, they can withstand the erosion of high-temperature glass melts. They are also applied in cement rotary kilns and non-ferrous metal smelting furnaces, playing a crucial role in ensuring the normal operation of these high-temperature equipment.
Advantages of Fused Magnesia Brick
1.Slag resistance. Magnesia bricks are basic refractory bricks. They have strong resistance to alkaline slags such as CAO and FEO. They are often used as masonry materials for alkali kilns, but they have poor resistance to acid slags and cannot be contacted with acid refractories. 2.High refractoriness. Magnesia bricks have the highest refractoriness of general refractory bricks, which can reach 2000 degrees. 3.Good thermal conductivity and Hydration, but poor high temperature volume stability. 4.High loading softening temperature between1500-1550 degrees.
