シリカ断熱煉瓦は軽量シリカ煉瓦とも呼ばれ、SiO2が91%以上の断熱耐火物です。シリカ断熱レンガは一種の軽量断熱材で、性能が優れています。軽量シリカレンガは微粒鉱石を原料として、コークス、木片などの可燃性物質を加えて多孔質構造を形成します。シリコン断熱レンガのRULは1620℃以上です。
