Description of Corundum Brick

Corundum bricks are refractory products with corundum as the main crystal phase, in which the Al2O3 content is greater than 90%. It has high compressive strength at room temperature (up to 340MPa). The load softening starting temperature is high (greater than 1700℃). There are two types of sintered corundum bricks and fused corundum bricks. It can be made of sintered corundum or fused corundum as raw materials, or bauxite clinker with a relatively high Al2O3/SiO2 and sintered corundum by sintering method. It can also be made of unburned corundum bricks using phosphoric acid or other binders.
