珪酸カルシウムボードは、珪素原料（珪藻土、ベントナイト、石英粉など）、カルシウム原料（消石灰、カーバイドスラグ）、強化繊維（アスベスト、ガラス繊維）などを原料とする新しいタイプの軽量多目的ボードである。ケイ酸カルシウム板は、パルプ化、培養、蒸煮、表面研磨などの工程を経て製造される。用途は幅広く、非耐荷重の間仕切り壁や天井板として使用できるほか、エアダクトやライニングボード、車両や船舶のコンパートメントパネルや間仕切りパネルなど、断熱が必要な場所にも使用できる。
