Acid-resistant castables are refractory materials mainly used in industrial furnaces and other equipment exposed to acid environments. They are composed of acid-resistant aggregates, binders and additives, possessing excellent acid resistance, high temperature resistance and mechanical strength.

Acid – resistant castables are widely used in chemical plants for reaction vessels and acid – pickling tanks, in sulfuric acid production facilities, and in waste incineration plants to resist acid corrosion.
