Corundum bricks are refractory products with corundum as the main crystal phase, in which the Al2O3 content is greater than 90%. It has high compressive strength at room temperature (up to 340MPa). The load softening starting temperature is high (greater than 1700℃). There are two types of sintered corundum bricks and fused corundum bricks. It can be made of sintered corundum or fused corundum as raw materials, or bauxite clinker with a relatively high Al2O3/SiO2 and sintered corundum by sintering method. It can also be made of unburned corundum bricks using phosphoric acid or other binders.

刚玉莫来石砖主要材料为进口板状刚玉、高纯电熔刚玉,采用先进的超细粉体添加技术,经混料、干燥、成型、高温梭式窑烧制而成。
电熔刚玉砖是在电弧炉中熔化氧化铝,然后浇铸成特定形状的模型。通过退火和保温,然后用金刚石磨料进行加工,即可获得所需的产品。
铬刚玉砖又称高耐磨铬刚玉攻丝砖。以α-Al2O3 为原料,加入适量铬亚粉和铬刚玉熟料细粉,经高温烧成成型。主要矿物成分为 α-Al2O3-Cr2O3 固溶体。次要矿物包括少量复合尖晶石(或无复合尖晶石)、氧化铬含量为 1% 至 30% 的耐火砖。
高铬砖以氧化铬和氧化铝为主要原料,或加入少量氧化锆。经过高温烧制而成。氧化铬含量不低于 75%,氧化铬和氧化铝含量不低于 98% 的定型耐火制品。高铬砖具有优异的抗浸出性、常温抗压强度高、耐磨性优异、耐高温、抗热震性好等特点。
