Fused bricks, also known as fused zirconia corundum bricks, are abbreviated as AZS, which are arranged in the order of their content according to the three chemical components of the Al2O3-ZrO2-SiO2 ternary system phase diagram. AZS is abbreviated from “A” of Al2O3, “Z” of ZrO2 and “S” of SiO2, according to JC/T industry standard.For example, No. 33 fused zirconia corundum refractory brick is referred to as “AZS-33#”, No. 36 fused zirconia corundum refractory brick is referred to as “AZS-36#”, and No. 41 fused cast zirconia corundum refractory brick is referred to as “AZS-41#” .

AZS-33 对玻璃液具有良好的耐腐蚀性，不易产生结石或其他缺陷，产生小气泡的可能性较低。因此，AZS-33 砖在玻璃窑中应用广泛，主要适用于熔化池的上部结构、工作池的池壁砖和铺路砖以及物料通道。
AZS36 砖除了与 AZS33 砖具有相同的共晶体外，由于增加了更多的交错氧化锆晶体，降低了玻璃相含量，因此适用于高液态玻璃流动速率和高温的领域，如熔池壁砖、铺路砖、装料口砖等。
AZS41 是熔铸 AZS 系列中最优秀的产品，具有极高的抗玻璃液腐蚀性能和极高的玻璃相渗温度。广泛应用于玻璃窑炉的罐壁、进料口转角、流孔、窑脊、罐底鼓泡等关键部位以及所有电熔炉的热点部位。
