铬刚玉砖是以α-Al2O3为原料,加入适量的氧化铬粉和铬刚玉熟料细粉,经高温成型烧制而成。主要矿物成分为α-Al2O3-Cr2O3 固溶体,次要矿物由少量复合尖晶石(或无复合尖晶石)组成,氧化铬含量为耐火砖的 1% 至 30%。
