As a key refractory structure in the steelmaking process, Mat\u00e9riaux r\u00e9fractaires pour le rev\u00eatement des poches de coul\u00e9e<\/strong><\/a> must have good erosion resistance, thermal shock resistance, slag resistance and high temperature strength. According to the structure of the working layer and the use position, the lining of the ladle usually includes the working layer, permanent layer and insulation layer, and the refractory materials used in different parts are also different.<\/p>\n

The following is the classification of refractory materials commonly used in ladle lining:<\/p>\n

\u4e00. Working layer (the part in contact with molten steel and slag)<\/h2>\n

Need to be resistant to high temperature and corrosion of molten steel and slag:<\/p>\n

1. Magnesium carbon brick<\/a>:<\/strong> commonly used in ladle wall, ladle bottom and ladle mouth area
\nFeatures: good thermal shock resistance and strong corrosion resistance<\/p>\n

2. Brique \u00e0 haute teneur en alumine<\/a>:<\/strong> suitable for low-requirement ladle or transition area
\nLow cost and medium service life<\/p>\n

3. Aluminum magnesium carbon brick (Al-Mg-C Brick):<\/strong> can be used for ladle top and impact area
\nGood overall performance<\/p>\n

4. Carbon-free castable<\/strong> \/ low-carbon self-flowing castable (LC Castables: used for large or refined ladle
\nConvenient construction, good integrity<\/p>\n

5. Functional refractory materials<\/strong> (such as quick-change ladle nozzles, seat bricks)
\nUse sintered or electrofused materials to enhance anti-scouring and anti-erosion performance<\/p>\n

\u4e8c. Permanent layer (supporting working layer, providing strength and insulation)<\/h2>\n

Not high temperature requirements, focusing on support and insulation:<\/p>\n

1. Fireclay Brick<\/a><\/strong>: cheap, easy to construct<\/p>\n

2. High alumina brick:<\/strong> higher strength, extended ladle life<\/p>\n

3. Insulating refractory brick<\/a> or lightweight refractory castable<\/a>:<\/strong> reduce heat conduction to the ladle shell<\/p>\n

\u4e09. Insulating layer (outermost layer, close to the ladle)<\/h2>\n

Reduce heat loss and protect the ladle shell:<\/p>\n

1. Alumina silicate fiberboard<\/a> \/ ceramic fiber blanket<\/a>:<\/strong> excellent insulation performance<\/p>\n

2. Lightweight insulation brick \/ perlite board and other insulation materials<\/strong><\/p>\n

3. Supplementary materials:<\/strong>
\nDry vibration material (dry ladle lining): used for integral casting of ladle bottom or ladle wall, fast construction
\nPrefabricated blocks<\/a><\/strong> (Prefab block): used for impact zone or seat brick to shorten maintenance time<\/p>\n
