What are Common EAF Refractory Lining Materials\uff1f<\/p>\n

EAF Refractory Lining<\/strong><\/a> is usually made of alkaline refractory materials, supplemented by neutral or acidic materials, and is configured differently according to the working conditions of the parts:<\/p>\n

Magnesium carbon brick is the core material, composed of magnesium oxide (60%~90%) and graphite (10%~30%), with strong resistance to high temperature (above 1700\u2103), thermal shock and slag erosion, and is used in key parts such as slag line area and furnace bottom.<\/p>\n

Magnesium calcium brick contains magnesium oxide and calcium oxide, which can purify slag and is suitable for clean steel smelting such as stainless steel, but requires moisture-proof treatment.<\/p>\n

High alumina brick (alumina 48%~90%) is a neutral material with good thermal shock resistance and low cost. It is used in non-critical high-temperature areas such as furnace top and steel outlet.<\/p>\n
