Ihre L\u00e4nge betr\u00e4gt in der Regel das Hundertfache ihres Durchmessers, und sie werden in der Regel nach der Gasphasenmethode gez\u00fcchtet. Nanokeramische Verbundwerkstoffe lassen sich im Allgemeinen in drei Kategorien einteilen: intragranulare, intergranulare Nanokomposite und Nano\/Nanokomposite. Die nanoskaligen Partikel der ersten beiden Arten von Nanoverbundwerkstoffen sind haupts\u00e4chlich in oder zwischen den Matrixk\u00f6rnern dispergiert, und ihr Hauptziel ist die Verbesserung der mechanischen Eigenschaften bei hohen Temperaturen. Bei diesem Material handelt es sich um ein so genanntes leistungssteigerndes Material (in Japan \"Tilted Functional Material\" genannt).
