Sillimanite refractory bricks are made from sillimanite, quartz, and other minerals through calcination or casting. Their alumina content is as high as 62%. They are a special type of high-alumina refractory brick. Their physical and chemical properties are superior to those of high alumina refractory bricks. Therefore, they are an important refractory material for the construction of industrial kilns and other high-temperature equipment.

1.High refractoriness, enduring over 1650°C – 1750°C. 2.Good thermal shock resistance, resisting cracking from temp changes. 3.Low thermal conductivity, cutting heat loss. 4.High chemical stability against corrosion. 5.High mechanical strength for long – term use.
Sillimanite bricks are applied in glass kilns, ceramic kilns, and steel – making furnaces. They withstand high – temperature and chemical – corrosion environments, ensuring equipment durability.
